The traditional Maternity Portraits are absolutely stunning and fun to create, but the magic that is Underwater Photography is bar-none. Are you daring and ready to conquer something out-of-the-box at one of the local natural Springs, or in a tranquil pool?
I'll capture your maternity transcendence. Moms are encouraged to wait until their bumps are perfectly pronounced. The best time is around 28-32 weeks for single babies and a tad bit earlier for moms carrying multiples. With a growing selection of gowns, I am sure we can find you something stunning to wear.
“Theresa with the magic eye through those lenses. She is amazing and patient to work with a great personality.”

Will I need my makeup done?
For any regular maternity session, I would totally provide makeup. However, wearing makeup underwater is not necessary. It is optional.
When will the session be done?
Sessions are held between 10am-1pm to ensure optimal sunlight. Sessions are rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Do I need to be able to swim?
No, though it is encouraged. Sessions are done in no more than 5 ft deep waters to ensure that you can easily stand/rise to the top.
Can my partner/child be in the pictures?
Your partner is free to join. Children will require additional help regarding a guest that is NOT being photographed.
What should I wear for my session?
Fabrics and gowns with flowing chiffon trains are provided. Be sure to check out out Underwater Client Closet.
Will you help me pose?
Of course! We have safety measures in place regarding breathing and posing to ensure that you are safe and confident.
How do I do my hair?
Your hair styling depends on your self-expression.
How do I prepare for me pictures?
Practice holding your breath in a body of water (i.e.: sink or tub). This way you practice relaxing your face and refraining from the "blow fish" face.
