sessions are perfect for catching all of their emotions
going into 1. They've grown and learned so much in just
12 short months. Let's showcase that!
Our full-service boutique studio offers access to an
extensive prop collection, smash wardrobe options for boys
and girls ranging from 12 to 18 months, assorted accessories,
themed decorations and is fully accredited by the Accredited
Professional Newborn Photographers International (APNPI)
in Newborn & Baby safety. Allow T.R.P. to capture their biggest
milestone yet. Time for a celebration!

Food Allergies?
Sometimes our little ones are introduced to products and ingredients that don't sit too well with their tummies. This is why we ask ahead of time for any allergies. IF BABY HAS ALLERGIES, please make sure to let us know. In this instance, parents will provide the cake or bakery they wish the studio to use.

This is our process:
I. Book your Discovery call.
This is where I will get to know you, your desires, and decide if we are a good fit. We will go over all aspects of the session, including portrait products. Ask all the questions you want. Booking information will be emailed to you.
II. Portrait Session Day.
Upon arrival to the studio, baby's scene is set and we are ready to begin. The Cake Smash Experience is described below. Refreshments and snacks are available.
III. Portrait Ordering Appointment.
After 2 weeks, we will sit down together via Zoom and review your images, narrow them down to your absolute favorites, and help you decide how you would like to enjoy your portraits. Purchases are made at this time, so it's very important all decision makers are present.
III. Deliver memories.
All purchased digital images will be delivered via a secure online gallery. Prints ordered will be mailed or hand delivered based on order type and destination. Wall Art orders of 4 or more pieces are available for home delivery and installation at no extra charge.
Our Cake Smash Experience
Say Cheese!
When you arrive, the agreed upon themed session will be totally set up and ready for your baby. Though we will be ready to go, your little one may need time to get used to me (a stranger). I take this time to show your little one I am no threat to them with your help, of course. Once we see your little one is warming up is when we spring into action. Their attention spans are short so we need to use all of our time wisely.
TIME TO SMASH!
Once we have gotten all the smiles and/or laughs, it is time for the goods. I bring out the cake that stays wrapped completley until its time. We capture the action of the smash. Some babies dive head-first and some dont want to get dirty at all. Check out our blog post for more of an experience.
Splash Time!
This is where our little ones really come alive and its so much fun to watch. They get to splashing and making a mess all while loosening the icing and cake they've smeered all over. It's a fun way to get clean. Once fully clean, we wrap them in our clean, plush studio towels to make sure they are warm and get dry.
Your Maternity session begins with a $250 retainer to reserve your time and date.
You'll be able to choose your preferred package, which includes options for the number of images and products you desire. Your retainer fee will be subtracted from the total package cost.
On average, clients invest between $1500 and $2400 for their baby's cake smash birthday portrait session.
