Match Made In Heaven!
I was initially contacted through email for their session in Jacksonville, FL. I hit it off with all of my clients, but this one was a little different. Mom and I had so much in common. She and I both grew up in church with both of our families being heavily involved and even holding auxiliary titles. I love when I can connect with my clients on more than just the physical attributes. It gives me chills and we had a terrific time together.
A Vans
Kind of
I thought it was too cute when momma told me that they were planning a Vans theme for the portraits. Not only did it add a little more customization to their session, but it hit home for me. That was one thing that my family bonded over as well. Though those little feet will grow out of those sweet shoes, they will always have this memory and that is the most important part!

I would have given my left foot to look this fierce in my maternity pictures! This is what strength, empowerment, and confidence looks like all in one brilliantly radiant package. She understood the assignment too well! And with her being a true work of art, I had to create beauty with this beauty.
It's impossible to not fall in love with her and the excellence she exudes. I love capturing pregnant moms in their second trimester. They have so much more energy and are willing to do these amazing overhead shots that I have been asked for often. Not only did she kill this backdrop, but she looked ever so elegant in one of the many couture tulle maternity gowns from my client closet. I love to offer all of my pregnant clients access to my extensive maternity wardrobe. You will look and feel just as beautiful as you should always feel.
Sprinkling Some Love!
They are the perfect balance of chill and excited. She is the firecracker, bright and full of energy. He is way more cool and laid back. But don't get me wrong, they were both as funny as ever. I learned how they met in church and who approached whom. Can you tell who was the first to say something and show interest?
You can clearly tell I had the time of my life with this duo, soon-to-be trio. I have grown to love them in such a short time and I cannot wait to meet their little lady.
