Blacked Out in NYC
The best part of my job is being trusted to capture the most sensitive moments in a growing family's lives. I don't take this opportunity lightly. There is so much planning and careful thought that goes into creating a family. Those that service your family should feel the same passion you do. When speaking to Kara she was very enthused about capturing these moments of her family. I could hear that she was excited and that her family would be just as pumped. On the day of the shoot, mom was totally right. I told her straight up that I was so excited she picked me and they came dressed to impress. It's always a breath of fresh air when my clients are just as invested in their portrait session as I am. Dad came with his super dapper, suede blazer and fully tailored look all the way down to his footwear. The new Big Sister on the block, dressed in her own sweet little black dress, with the most beautiful twists in her hair. Our studio closet dressed momma Kara and she couldn't have looked more darling.
Mommy and Me
As a mother of a smaller child, I could never suggest that mom do a solo shoot. I will happily respect your wishes, but this moment includes your entire family. The legacy is growing and I want to capture that for you. These are their last moments of being the only child. Soon they will have a new best friend in training. That is an exciting or sometimes scary moment in their lives. Let's capture the family before this new adventure starts. Little Miss Kailynn is beyond excited and it truly showed during their segment together.
And then a little mommy solo action
The Main Event
I always set aside time for the show to end on our main event, you! I always want my moms to feel just as special as they are. By this time, Kara was nice and relaxed, and was posing like a pro. I think you will love these just as much as we did! I am so looking forward to capturing their newborn in a few weeks.
