Match Made
All of my clients first start off as a sweet and simple phone consultation. An expectant LGBTQ+ mom in Jacksonville, FL reached out to me on my site and signed up to get a call immediately. I read a little about her and what caught my eye was her intense love for the fairy tale vibes that she got from my work. To read that made my heart sing. I was too excited to get her on the phone and discuss her session in full detail. We hit it off immediately. During our phone conversation she asked me a few questions and later decided to hire me because she knew that she and her partner would be comfortable and well taken care of. That was such an honor to hear those words from them and now they have new found family in myself and our makeup artist, Ashley Jones.
A Beautiful Request
Baby boy Rhys was Kay and Liz's dream and he's finally going to be in their arms thanks to their family friend, Luis. Baby boy is already surrounded with love and laughter from all of those who were involved in creating a new life. I was too excited when they requested for Luis to join in their session. He was well prepared with looks to coordinate with the ladies. I was very proud to see him interact and see the love that these three shared for little Mister Rhys. I cannot wait to meet him. His story is already so special and it blesses my heart that I was granted the honor to capture their fairy tale session in Crooked River.
First Born
These two young ladies are expecting their first child and I am always so honored when my first time moms select me as their maternity photographer, especially when I get to travel to different states and cities to do their maternity photo shoot. We started off in Crooked River State Park in St. Marys, GA and literally beat the rain by seconds. I knew that her heart was set on a woodland scenery. Immediately I knew of the perfect location for her and the way she rocked this spot was amazing. Kay jumped into action as her partner Liz and family friend Luis changed in our portable changing station.
Kay loved this look because of how soft the palette was. So, though they are expecting a little man, these women wanted to remain soft and show femininity during their session and I think they did a beautiful job. I literally loved Liz's dress so I kept complimenting her.
Biggest Request
Mom's biggest request was to feel and look like a fairy. Though she was my little woodland fairy I think she totally nailed Disney Princess. The second I said that Liz gave her this adorable little stare. Little did I know, Kay has always considered herself a Disney Princess and I just confirmed it. We laughed and continue creating magic.
